Overview:

Barclays is hiring a Settlements Portal Analyst to be part of its Service Operations team in Pune, India. This is a full-time permanent position focusing on leveraging cutting-edge technology and agile methods to create a scalable and resilient digital experience.

The ideal candidate will work on complex technical problems in collaboration with other engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, contributing directly to Barclays’ financial technology evolution.

Purpose of the Role:

To design, develop, and improve software using modern engineering practices. The role involves end-to-end software development including requirements gathering, architecture planning, development, testing, and deployment.

Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver high-quality software solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering).
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
• Stay updated with industry technology trends and security standards.
• Implement effective testing practices and secure coding principles.

• Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and agile development.
• Desirable: Experience in banking or financial services domain.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and mentor juniors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
